Hi!
Thanks to whomever asked me to be spotlighted this month! I really appreciate it.
As my blog says, ‘I’m a creative 43 (actually I’m almost 45) year old that loves to do more crafts than I have room for! I also Love to share what I know to anyone who wants to learn!’
I got hooked, as many of you did, when a friend showed me how to use embossing powder and a stamp cleaner. I don’t mind SOME messy aspects, but the cleaning of stamps and wet ink that never dried were keeping me from this hobby.
I love techniques! The more different things I can do with my current supplies the better!
The Asian theme gives me guidelines to stay within to challenge myself. I also like the calm feeling that Asian art gives me. Very soothing in a hectic world!
I currently use my stamps in card making and art journals. I have been known to use my stamps in the past on scrapbook pages, fabric and the walls of my home, too 🙂
Besides stamping, I also like to read, sew, garden and spend time with hubby and puppy (currently a 6 year old Sheltie named Kara) For this honour (Oh yes, I am also a proud Canadian), I decided to finish an art journal page, Asian style! The step-by-step and products used are on my blog: http://connell-crafts.blogspot.ca/
The other projects shown here are my past favourites.
Hugs to all!
